it's also gotten quiet now, with just her, Beast Boy, and Shiemi around... At least Ciel's done good keeping the apartment illuminated, yay magic/having Servants who can help you craft magical flashlights AKA glass orbs that stay lit!]

Except Shiemi's been a little down- with the sudden disappearance of Izumo, and with the announcement, she's not sure what to think at the moment. If anything, she's been keeping quiet, trying to think of what to do...

But at least Ciel is able to knock her right out of that funk of hers. Looking up at the older girl, Shiemi has a melancholy look on her face as she nods slowly.]

...yes, Ciel-san...is there something you want...?

[she offers a small but encouraging smile.]

I wanted to check up on you, but to talk too, yes. [let's start this nice and slow...] A lot has been happening within the last few days, hm?

...a lot of things have happened, yes...I'm just...worried about how Kamiki-san is doing...all my other friends from home, too. They're all gone and it's just...

[She grips the fabric of her clothing, not wanting to think about the situation the others are in. It makes her question why she's the only one really left out of it. She'll leave those thoughts out of it for now, though...]

What do I do, Ciel-san...? I can't do anything besides support people...

At that, she'll calmly walk up to Shiemi, before gingerly pulling her close into a hug.]

I can relate. It almost feels like we're the only one, but please, never forget that you're not alone.

[she gives a small squeeze. she's been just as restless, for while she doesn't have people from home, she is deeply attached to a number of people she's acquainted with, in Haven proper.]

Support is quite invaluable, actually, so please don't undervalue it. ...Have you thought about it, though? There's going to be an assault group to find Kite, though some people will also have to stay behind to make sure things are okay here too.

[Shiemi seems a bit surprised at the hug at first, eventually relaxing into it and burying her face into Ciel's clothing. The comfort was nice, it was helping her keep her mind off of the more negative things that have been going on.]

...I want to help out...I want to help out everyone and bring everyone back safe and sound, so I've decided to...go along with everyone to find Kite. Even if I'm not the best fighter around, I don't want to sit around and do nothing! I have to obtain my weed spirit...

[It sounds muffled because of how her position is, but feeling Ciel's warmth was something she needed in these past few days.]

[Ciel might've been more tightly wound, once upon a time. But while knowing how to fight has given her an edge many times before, there's also no use for soldiers in Haven. True to her words that support is crucial, the softspoken, gentle, and naggy too, yes, sisterly/motherly figure who's easy to talk to is the person she needs to be here - and to be frank? It's who she enjoys being and who she truly is, too. So for that reason...

She rests her free hand on the back of Shiemi's head. This does help... She's been at a loss too, since the day so many went missing at the same time.]

Ehe, your resolve is really impressive. You don't have to be; many fighters are going, and I'm sure you'll be of great support to them. Just stay close to the group and make sure you're together, okay? Preferably with someone you already get along with here, too. [and not Luffy......] I'm sure you'll be fine, Moriyama-san.

I'll be staying here, just in case. We'll keep this part of Haven West in shape so we can welcome you all properly once you come back. Some people have to stay to make sure, you know?

[she continues softly, there's a faint joking tone to that in an attempt to lighten the mood. don't worry, she can take care of herself...!]

[so Newt has this habit of bothering both Owen and Deadpool. More the former than the latter, but that's only because he and Owen (as well as some others) are thinking of setting up a lab. In fact, said lab is just about ready to be fully set up, but that's beside the point. The point is, Newt is looking for Owen when he pops his head into 3.006, but when he spots Sheimi, he's blinking in surprise--before his face splits into a grin]

Sheimi! Hey!

[Well that was a surprise. Shiemi wasn't exactly expecting any visitors (that and she's been fretting too much over problems concerning the people from home), so hearing her name called out once someone comes in does make her jump a bit in surprise. It's definitely no one in the apartment, but once she does turn around-]

Oh! Newty! Hello! [She's waving frantically at him.] What brings you here?

[He'll be stepping into the room, then, and making his way towards here] Just looking for Owen. Do you live here? I didn't know you were in this apartment!

Mhmm, this is also my apartment! I don't know if Owen-san is in, though... [She doesn't even know where he is, but.]

I can leave him a message if you'd like. Or would you like someone else to talk to, Newty?

No, I wasn't one at all. [Not yet, at least.] But don't you find it a bit strange that it's only for a day? I haven't been able to ask around what happened, but...

[She's not sure if she wants to find out what's going on around here.]

[while he would have ignored it, he can't help but feel like he might be missing a little more than he knows. and while he'd probably be better off asking izumo, since she had been here the longest-- they aren't exactly on great terms now.

[Ah- she wasn't quite expecting something like this. It catches her a bit off guard once she realizes who she's talking to, but it at least gives her a moment to mull over a response...and to think about why Bon wants to know in the first place.]

...um...If I remember correctly...it should be close to seven months at this point! But why do you ask?

They died. Do you remember when the apartment was run over with ghosts? I...think those were the ghosts of the people who previously lived here.
